Lexi Akin is a dancer and movement artist rooted in tap, musical theater, jazz, ballet, and improvisation. A member of SAG-AFTRA, she brings rhythm, versatility, and emotional clarity to every performance.
Her work blends technical precision with intuitive storytelling, creating performances that are bold, grounded, and deeply expressive—reflecting a lifelong devotion to movement as both craft and connection.

Originally from a small town in East Texas and now based in New York City, Lexi’s dance journey began at the age of three and it has remained her passion ever since. She has trained extensively across studio, competition, and convention stages, earning top overall awards and recognition for her choreography.
An early high school graduate who earned her Associate’s Degree in Fine Arts before the age of 18, Lexi went on to complete the Broadway Dance Center Professional Semester, further refining her artistry and professional voice. She continues to expand her craft in New York through both performance and creative collaboration. Today, she channels her lifelong love of movement as a performer, studio teacher, competition coach, and choreographer, blending technical precision with intuitive storytelling to create work that is bold, grounded, and deeply expressive.
